Carmen Rodriguez Sotuela was born in Ponferrada, Leon - Spain. Began his career as a painter in his childhood. His love of nature discovered the rich colors of the landscape of El Bierzo, Leon , making transmit its beauty in his extensive work pictorica :


Scenes of rural life, the sobriety of its stone houses, the Apple trees in blossom, the poplars in autumn reflected in rio Sil, the amazing landscape of Las Médulas, declared world heritage, the Templar Castle, mountains, trees, flowers, taking the viewer in its connection with nature, a feeling of happiness and respect throughout the US surrounds.


 


He resides in Málaga since 1979. Incorporates in his canvases, light and colorful landscapes of Andalusia: the white houses of fishermen, on the beaches of El Palo and Pedregalejo, adorned with flowers, geranium, jasmine, Bougainvilleas, oleanders, the door dark, La Alcazaba, the Park of Malaga with orange trees, jacarandas, palomas…


 


In the year 2000 is awarded first prize for his creativity and mastery in its composition, the canvas showing for the celebration of the "maritime festivals and sport" poster contest in Honor of the Virgin of the Carmen of the stick Malaga, organized by the City Council and the Board of Malaga Eastern District.
